Lenticular Effects

Lenticulars allow you to harness movement, depth, and animation. Lenticular prints provide excellent value in terms of significantly higher recall rates of the message being promoted than conventional print and also double (2-Flip) or even triple (3-Flip) the display potential of an item. It is a proven fact that lenticular images attract an audience’s attention span up to 5 times longer than traditional 2d images. Advice on Lenticular usge, information on the Lenticular Lens. Introduction to the Flip, 3D, Motion or Animation, Morph and Zoom effects.

» The Flip The ‘Flip’ is the most widely used type of lenticular. The basic flip has two or more images which, gives the opportunity to present more than one message in the same space or, illustrate changes of an item.
» 3D Lenticular allows for the illusion of 3D due to the lens sheet projecting slightly different images to each eye.  The brain then fuses these together into one image with incredible depth in a phenomena known as parallax.
» Motion or Animation A motion or animated lenticular may comprise ten or more different images interlaced together to give the illusion of movement
» Morph A morph effect can also be regarded as a flip, but with transitional phases in between. The elements of one image dramatically transform into another completely different image.
» Zoom With the Zoom effect, the lenticular lens literally propels the image in or out but with no obvious start point.
» Motion Unit Motion Panels are ideal display tools for communicating your product message in an innovative and effective way, especially in competitive retail and POS environments.
