Reflex Printed Plastics was established in 1976 and in that time have earned an enviable reputation in our specialised field, with high-profile clients including Coca-Cola, Nestle, P&G, Levi’s, Travelodge, Barclays, L’Oreal, Canon and far more besides.
Positively passionate about printing plastics, we consider ourselves highly-skilled plastic surgeons, handling projects from concept to completion at our modern, purpose-built premises in Kent which houses the latest pre-press, printing and finishing machinery.
But it’s not just what we do, it’s how we do it – with care and attention to detail every step of the way as standard. That’s why we like to start each project with a consultation to fully understand scope and purpose of each product. By doing so we enjoy building strong, mutually-beneficial working partnerships with our clients.
Plastic printing is specialised and we thrive on making a success of your product. Printing with flair, imagination and professionalism makes sure printed plastic becomes a powerful tool to help your company build brand awareness, promote products and services.
As experts in the field, we will guide you through your plastic projects from beginning to end. We can offer advice on what works well and also the finishing processes required. You name it, we can – and will – make it happen to an extremely high standard.
Key to our success is our state-of-the-art equipment. A Komori press, which can print up to six colours in one pass as well as being specially-built for us with high-spec UV – inter decked curing systems and anti-marking rollers. Our computer to plate system (CTP) also gives fastidious control over dot gain and produces precise plates (up to 4800dpi and 450lpi) at high speeds.
We invested in a flat bed digital which prints UV inks on almost any substrate up to a size of 2.5m x 1.25m and 50mm thick, with an added capability to print single or double opaque whites with perfect registration for selective areas. The press also has an inergrated roll feed option where we can print on rolls of material giving us the option of printing even larger products 2m x the roll length.
Here at Reflex we are proud to have been recycling a large majority of our waste materials for over 12 years and whenever possible we seek to use recycled or recyclable materials in our production methods. By working with us you are also reducing your carbon footprint thanks to our in-house, purpose built facility.
Whichever of our services you use, we pride ourselves on our in-house finishing which is second to none thanks to a Young Shin die cutter/creaser. It was specially adapted for us with anti-scratch and anti-static to accommodate the specialist materials we use. Bells and whistles too, we upgraded the Young-Shin to include a heating plate, this assists when cutting some of the more dense substrates. Another add on is the in line waste stripping unit, a significant efficiency gain for larger finishing runs. When set up, this saves considerable time on the final hand strip with the added bonus of auto capture/segregation of waste ready for collection.
Above all, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service. We’re on hand to offer expert advice and guidance, whatever your project or product needs.
